Running for office
Candidates for the following public and partisan offices should fill out and file the following requisite
forms and email them to the chair of the Lee County Democratic Party at jamie@leedemocratsal.org
starting January 5, 2026 until 5:00 pm January 26, 2026.
Candidates for Lee County Democratic Executive Committee only are required to fill out the Declaration of Candidacy Form.

- Lee County Revenue Commisioner (Qualifying fee - $3,150)
- Lee County Sheriff (Qualifying fee - $2,600)
- Lee County Coroner (Qualifying fee - $1,290)
- Lee County Commission - place 2, 4, and 5 (Qualifying fee - $560)
- Lee County School Board - place 2, 5, and 6 (Qualifying fee - $144)
- Lee County Democratic Executive Committee Member - district 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (Qualifying fee - $25)
