• Qualification for candidacy for the 2024 Democratic Primary Election on March 5, 2024 opens September 29, 2023 at noon, and will close on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. CST.
• Fees per office sought:

  Lee County Circuit Clerk- $2,130.00

  Lee County Commissioner- $520.00
  -

  Lee County School Board- $144.00

• Candidates must submit the Declaration of Candidacy to the County Chair through mail at P.O. Box 998, Opelika, AL. The form is attached below:
